About Us

Who Are We?

We are an awareness organization that informs people about the benefits of being and/or becoming an organ donor. We provide statistics and stories through brochures and our website in order to save lives. We also travel to different businesses to spread awareness.

We gain our information from like such as UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing), who find donors for those in need of organs.

Numbers, Numbers, Numbers

  • As of today at 10:36am 122,360 need an organ transplant to live. Out of those people, 78,691 are on the waiting list.

  • As of May 2015, there are 5,975 organ donors. 1 donor can save 8 lives.
          • 5975 x 8 = 47,800
          • 122,360 - 47,800 = 74,560
  • That means there is a total of 74,560 people who still need organs.

  • 22 people die each day while waiting for a transplant.

  • In 2014 4,270 died waiting for a transplant and 3,617 became too sick to receive a transplant.

  • 2014 was a record breaking year for the number of transplants performed and the number of deceased donor transplants.

  • 90% of Americans support donations, but only 30% actually know how to become a donor.

  • Every 10 minutes another name is added to the national transplant waiting list.
